The Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) Project is partnering with and learning from patients and advocates in order to work more closely with people of color and address disparities in research participation. In November 2016, five African-American patients involved in breast cancer advocacy were invited to the Broad to share their perspectives on research and outreach with the research team.
